Ouagadougou: The Governor of the Yaadga region, Thomas Yampa, officially launched the activities of the 2nd phase of the Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation (JEPPC), noted the AIB.
According to Burkina Information Agency, raising patriotic awareness and encouraging civic engagement in favor of promoting the values of civic duty, courage, solidarity, respect for public affairs, and rejection of corruption are among the objectives of the JEPPC organization.
This second phase of the patriotic days officially began with a ceremony in the Yaadga governorate, marked by the raising of the flag. The constituent bodies listened attentively to the entire message of the Head of State, Captain Ibrahim Traore, read by the Governor of the Region, Thomas Yampa.
The regional authority subsequently called on all public officials and the population to respect public property, to be civil, to maintain order and discipline.
A program of several activities from different regional structures and ministerial departments will be implemented. In the city of Naaba Kango and in the other provincial capitals of the region, from October 2 to 16, 2025, the populations were invited to get involved in awareness-raising activities, community service, public conferences, film screenings, etc.
