Sir Sam Bennett donates motorbike to Sunyani East Independent Candidate


Sir Sam Bennett, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Sunyani-based Eusbett Hotel has donated a brand-new motorbike to support the electioneering of Mr Ransford Antwi, the Sunyani East Independent Parliamentary Candidate in the Election 2024.

Sir Bennett said the machine was his widow’s mite to enhance the mobility of the candidate to enable him to reach out to the electorate at deprived communities and canvass for their votes and his commitment to support the candidate to achieve his vision too.

He congratulated Mr Antwi for his bold decision to contest the elections as an independent candidate and expressed the conviction that the machine would enable him to undertake extensive outreaches in the constituency.

Sir Bennett advised the candidate and his following to remain decorous in the electioneering and avoid the use of intemperate and abusive remarks.

Mr Antwi, also the CEO of the Suncity Group of Companies, thanked the donor for the gesture which he added had inspired him a lot in contesting the
parliamentary seat.

In a related development, Mr Antwi supported the painting of the female unit of the Sunyani Central Prisons by painting the block to give it a new look.

The candidate painted the inmate cells and the offices to give them new looks, saying the gesture followed a request by the prison command.

Superintendent Mrs Mary Asante-Sarfo, in charge of the Female Prisons and Mrs Charity Yeboah, the Third in Command expressed their appreciation to the candidate and appealed for food aid and other items for the upkeep of the inmates.
