Tehayon Foundation launches ‘Stop TB’ Campaign in Nkwanta South

The Tehayon Foundation, a non-governmental organisation, has launched a three-year ‘Stop TB’ programme in the Nkwanta South Municipality to combat tuberculosis through awareness creation and education.

The initiative’s goal is to reduce the prevalence of tuberculosis in the Municipality and the Oti region.

The programme, supported by the Stop TB Partnership, had trained volunteers in various zones including Brewaniase, Keri, Bonakye, and Kecheibi, to promote awareness and drive efforts towards a TB-free world.

Mr Kwame Dabi Blay, the Executive Director of Tehayon Foundation, urged residents to collaborate with the Organisation to make a significant impact in reducing TB cases.

Nana Tidibo Kowurah Odamba II, the Paramount Chief and President of the Ntrubo Traditional Council, commended the NGO for its efforts and pledged his support for the programme’s success.
