New Reform Explained to Teachers in Kankalaba During Educational Conference

Leraba: Teachers in the Kankalaba Basic Education District (CEB) were briefed on the new reform of the Burkinabe education system from October 15 to 18, 2025. The president of the Kankalaba special delegation, Blaise Zomodo, presided over the ceremony, under the theme: "Implementation of educational reforms and ownership of integration situations."

According to Burkina Information Agency, the Basic Education District (CEB) of Kankalaba, a rural commune located 20 km from Sindou, has taken the challenge of strengthening the capacities of its teachers on the new curriculum reform through the organization of the annual pedagogical conference of teachers 2025. The starting signal for the activities of this teacher training session was given by Blaise Zomodo, through the message of the Minister in charge of Basic Education, Jacques Sosthene Dingara.

He called on education stakeholders to be more committed to the fight against ignorance and obscurantism so that Burkina Faso can live free and prosperous. The participants were equipped with the pedagogical introduction of professions, the English language, Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), but also with the optimal pedagogical support that goes with them for their support in the classes with the students.

The PDS urged teachers to put into practice the actions of this conference as soon as they return to the field, emphasizing that it is through concrete and coordinated actions that they will succeed in translating the reforms so that the future of each Burkinabe child is shaped under happy auspices.
