The High Commissioner Galvanizes Forces During Traditional Raising of the Colors

Ouagadougou: The High Commissioner of Ziro Province, Saba Zorom©, chaired the traditional raising of the colors at the Sapouy High Commission on Tuesday, in the presence of administrative, customary, religious, and associative authorities as well as the Defense and Security Forces (FDS).

According to Burkina Information Agency, the FDS raised the national flag in perfect synchronization, while the victory anthem resounded, reminding everyone of their attachment to the homeland. High Commissioner Zorom© took the opportunity to urge all participants to maintain the momentum of civic and patriotic mobilization initiated by the country's highest authorities.

"Every month, we must take up this challenge, because it is a national commitment. During the months of July and early August, you participated massively in the reforestation day, and I congratulate you. Stay mobilized and ready to respond to the next calls for action," he declared.

Mr. Zorom© also invited the population to adopt the philosophy of the Labaal brigade, by fighting against all forms of environmental incivility. "When someone throws away a bag or water inappropriately, let's draw their attention to it. Let's protect our gutters and ensure a healthy living environment," he insisted.

Addressing the students currently on patriotic immersion, Mr. Zorom© wished them an enriching experience, while calling on the inhabitants of Ziro to be role models. This ceremony, organized at the beginning of each month, remains a strong moment of cohesion, a reminder of civic values and collective commitment to development and national unity.
